Puma knives are German made and known for their high quality and craftsmanship. They began their long and storied history in 1769 when Johann Wilhelm Lauterjung registered the Puma trademark and began making knives soon after. The knife making enterprise was moved to the cutlery center of Solingen, Germany in 1855 and began making pocket knives and other hunting knives.
