Fight’n Rooster knives began in 1976 after Frank Buster returned from Olbertz, a German knife factory.  He was searching out a firm that could make limited edition runs of high quality pocket knives for collectors.  The earliest Fight’n Rooster tang stamps featured two fighting roosters and Solingen or Germany underneath.  These knives feature new takes on traditional patterns, interesting blade etches and a variety of handle materials such as stag, bone, mother of pearl and fancy celluloid.  What makes these knives so collectible is that they are made in small numbers and display high quality.  Popular patterns include muskrats, gunstock jacks, canoes, whittlers and sunfish just to name a few!  Check out Carl Schlieper Eye Brand knives and Puma knives as well.
