The Waterville Cutlery Co. was a high quality manufacturer of pocket knives in 19th century New England.  They were made in Waterbury, Connecticut beginning around 1843.  Knives that are of this earliest period are marked “Waterville Manuf Co Waterbury” in three lines.  Other markings include “W. Ville” “Water-ville” and “Waterville Cutlery Co Conn.”  Be sure to check out Holley and KA-BAR knives as well.
