Carl Schlieper Knives – Eye Brand

Carl Schlieper Eye Brand, or sometimes referred to as German Eye, knives were hand forged in Solingen, Germany since 1898.  The company began as a producer of goods such as tools, locks, and heavy machinery in the 1700’s.  However, after WWII, they scaled down their business to focus on manufacturing cutlery.  The stag handled congress knives, lockback knives, jumbo trapper with saw blade, sodbuster and copperhead knives are especially sought after among collectors.  Some are even paired with their original, yellow boxes!  Check out the vintage Puma knives page and the Rare Pocket knives page as well.
