Remington Bullet knives are among the most recognizable and collectible patterns in American pocket knife history. The original Remington Bullets, produced in the early to mid-1920s, are especially prized by collectors for their classic patterns and distinctive shield shaped like a cartridge.

These early examples were offered in a variety of handle materials such as jigged bone, genuine stag and even cocobolo wood. Some of the most sought after models include the R1123 Trapper, R1306 Lockback Hunter, the R1253 single blade trapper and many more! Remington produced these knives in Bridgeport, Connecticut until the late 1930s.
Decades later, Remington revived the Bullet pattern in the 1980s through production by Camillus Cutlery, introducing both traditional and commemorative versions. While the Camillus-made Bullets are more affordable and widely available, certain models—especially those with genuine bone or stag handles — were produced in limited numbers and remain highly collectible.
