Sowbelly pocket knives

Sowbelly pocket knives are a heavy duty version of the stockman and typically feature a clip, sheepfoot and spey blade.  The frame of these knives have a sagging belly like that of an overweight pig.  Some rare versions of these knives feature 5 blades like the rare Remington R4283.  More recently, Case has made a sowbelly featuring a variety of handle materials.  An old sowbelly is usually the centerpiece of a collection.
