Knives issued and used during the Vietnam War are high quality collectible and were made by a variety of manufactures for different branches of the military. A popular stiletto knife was the Gerber Mark II Combat Knife, first issued in 1966. Randall Made Knives of Orlando Florida made the Attack, Model 14 and Model 18 Survival for use in combat. SOG bowie knives, most made in Japan, had a glare reducing dark finish applied to the blade and featured a clip point blade.
