Blackjack Knives was formed in 1987 when Mike Stewart and Steven Lewis began as importers of fine cutlery from South Africa (including Chris Reeve).  Their produced their first knife, called the Mamba, debuted in 1987 and was designed by Mike Stewart.  Many of these early knives were produced in Japan but the company moved production to Effingham, Illinois in 1991.  Blackjack knives are known for their ability hold an edge, high quality materials and craftsmanship.  Popular models include the Model 1-7, Trail Guide, Warner-Moran Rio Grand Bowie, Model 5, Blackmoor Dirk, Tac Ops Model 8 and more.  Check out the vintage Randall Knives page and the Bark River Knives page as well.
