Ulster Knife Co Stag Folding Lockback Hunter

Here is an early Ulster Knife Co Ellenville, NY folding hunter with beautiful stag handles and fancy pinched bolsters.  The clip blade is saber ground, features a long pull and shows some pitting from a cleaning a long time ago.  The locking mechanism requires a bit of extra effort going from open to close but it still functions well.  The blade has just the slightest side to side play when open. The genuine stag handles have wonderful character and are well matched.  A wonderful, early pattern to add to your collection.  Knives like this one don’t come around very often!
