Holley Lakeville Conn WWI “Red Cross” hobo pocket knife

$0.00

**SOLD** Here is an extremely nice Holley Lakeville Conn “hobo” or “Red Cross” knife with beautiful wood handles.  These knives were made for the Red Cross who would ship them in kits overseas to troops who were stationed in Europe during the WWI (c. 1917 – 18).  The spear point blade shows no signs of being used, maintaining its factory edge and polish just as it did when it left the factory.  Has a half stops and good snap when closing.  There is a bit of tarnish at the top of the blade. The spoon, made out of a different metal, shows expected tarnish as seen in the pictures.  This knife is in remarkable shape and has a wonderful connection to “The Great War” and US history.
