Cattaraugus Cut Co “King of the Woods” folding hunter bone

Here is an early “King of the Woods” coke bottle folding hunter pattern made by Cattaraugus Cut Co.  This pattern features a locking mechanism that functions as it should.  This knife features “worm grooved” jigged bone handles, nickel silver bolsters and federal style shield.  This knife is missing its swing guard but is still a really nice example.  Front handle has a stable hairline crack on either side of the shield.  The knife measures 5 1/4″ closed.  A bit of blade wobble when in open position.  A really neat old knife!
