1880’s Union Cutlery Co Large Coke Bottle Folding Hunter

**SOLD** You don’t often see the large coke bottle hunters with a lockback mechanism!  Here is a rare Union Cutlery Co Warranted (1887-88 from Goins Cutlery Markings) large coke bottle lockback folding hunter with ebony wood handles.  This knife measures 5 1/4″ closed.  The blade still has remnants of an etch as seen in the pictures, possibly “RELIABLE.”  The blade snaps shut and the locking mechanism works well.  Neat rope knot trademark on the reverse tang.  Ebony Wood handles are in great shape as well.  Nickel silver bolsters and shield with brass pins and liners.   Quite possibly a 135+ year old knife.  A rare one for your collection!
