Bowie knives were most commonly made in Sheffield, England and often imported to the US Frontier in the early to mid 19th century. They were usually accompanied by sheath and many still can be found with their knives to this day! Marbles sheath knives were made in Gladstone, Michigan from about 1900 until the 1960’s. They were made famous selling their high quality stacked leather washer handled hunting knives that were sold throughout the United States. There are several collectible patterns, including the Ideal, Woodcraft, Canoe and many more! Case, Western and Remington also sold high quality, collectibles hunting knives.
